Nobody noticed
except my heart.

How long did it last?
A nano second maybe
and yet my eyes
locked with yours.
Sparks were stored.

All of my brain cells
were instantly lit
and signalled
intense connection
throughout
my whole being.

My heart wings
fluttered wildly.
By the time
I sailed again
upon calm waters
you were gone,
out of sight.

Should there be
a chance to meet again,
my inner tremor
will start
before you even
come close.

Two pairs of heart wings
will then flutter and fly
across a cloudless sky.

Calm waters are ready
to surrender to
playful winds.

Each stanza is a lovely poem all its own, but this closing stanza was chosen and timed out the entire piece perfectly.

What we sense and feel in these "special" encounters is akin to something almost spiritually blessed.

Sometimes one can find the most lovely expressions when speaking (writing) of loss. And yet, in those times when love is closest to us, we may find ourselves unable to express our love.

An impression was left upon me after reading your poem. When someone like yourself is filled with the Spirit, they radiate from within and without. It does not go unnoticed dear lady.

Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me!
