Evil is done without effort, naturally, by fate, and the property is always the product of an art” Charles Baudelaire *************************************************** Time moves, but fate trajects the flesh. Sunbright is dull on closed window minds- Where dirty curtains hang, shutting out Godslight. In soils of stored hate, only briars grow; Causing the petals of love to bleed...and die! Circuits short, but some fuses hold Until atoms split, just before meltdown.. Out of control, the mind speed warps Towards the bridge that crosses the Styx. No argument changes the brush stroke; At muzzle flash, fools make no flinch. Evil art wins, a liniage is smudged...when A bullet adds numbers, to the right of the dash With bloodink sopped from maternal drool. Controlled insanity, mind vessel empty; Forces, electric-chemical, glue wheel to hands Aiding caution in traffic, but murder hates rest 'til its crimes are all done...yet-still-- yet For more...the howling beast makes wail. To morning songs, angels dance, then settle. Woe has failed to warn the lovelies- Grief that bears a coin for passage--enters; Sharp, and loud, repeated sounds, but no one heard The cries of those who for their mother's called. *************************************************** "This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends This is the way the world ends Not with a bang but a whimper." T.S.Elliot..."The Hollow Men" [This message has been edited by ice (11-29-2015 04:14 PM).] |

Your poetry and your quotes are quite good and a fine reading should be had by all as it was for myself. That being said with all sincerity, words are the most dangerous of weapons while also being the most impotent. Either way, words are the most influential tool we have. I can't see you, but I hear you. I may see you, but might not be listening. I am listening but I don't understand. I am frustrated and I am angry. I want to kill and I want to be killed. Here's to you and here's to me and should we ever disagree, here's to me! |

Rainy A lot of my meager poetry skills have been taught to me by dead poets...Of course I never copy them...but they are my mentors.. Thank you for reading, and the reply. Mr M. I can tell by your reply that you read my poem with care..that is all that i expect.. I have to spell check it better.. Wondering if there is a spell checker on the new post page? Thank you for reading. |
