lost
in a maze of
love
forever looking for
imperfection to an otherwise
perfect heart
which had been given
to him
did he treat this given heart
with respect
it was due
yes, of course he did
except for the one thing
which had been instrumental
in her pulling the whole of
her heart back
leaving him holding
what little she had left him
memories

You cover a lot of ground in your poetry JerryPat. And perhaps it was all that ground which passed beneath your feet that is so intricately related in your work.

88's friend for a cheerful holiday (pass that along to Zoe!)

She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".
