Slithering; Punk reptiles in black cars, Placed them in park, After gliding down hardtop Of bright, Paris streets-- Dressed in the color of hardened hearts, They came to enjoy the silence of beats In chests of all who oppose their will. The Daesh murdered protectors of others, Wrote in loud noises, their opposition, In cardinal dots, on soft skinned books, And danced coda in red, by suicide blast, And pens, loaded full of Kalashnikov ink. Washing clean, by blood on the street Was proof of revenge by transgression. Martyr death, had sainted all sinners-- And the scarlet ran down The curbs of hard granite Mixing as one In the waters of Seine... Those observing the Rorschach Test-- Read in red ink, as bodies were turned Revealing stains from the petals of evil; Bodies laid flat, on face and chest Made delible print, on clothing, and floor. Pages were turned In the book of the dead. But we have no idea, What the ink-blotter says. |

'Those observing the Rorschach Test-- Read in red ink, as bodies were turned' This line made impact. We will never be able to understand these kind of patterns, for they are written in a inhuman language. |

Dressed in the color of hardened hearts More than "hardened" those hearts have quite simply been disabled ... Love should be immune to brainwashing, so we must ask this question, do we love each other enough. No evolution or peace will be possible until we understand that we are all One, worthy of love and respect. Hatred is a bitter fruit of unawareness of this truth on all levels. No God worthy of this name would ever instigate His followers/children to perpetrate such acts of violence, rooted in blind hatred. It's a very powerful rendering of what happened, dear Ford. Good to see you back after a long time! Margherita |

Thank you JP--Glad the four lines were clear. The whole mess left me witha blank mind, still can't read the pattern. Yet as a tactic, the killers are brilliant, and that unfortunate fact bothers me more. * * shalisadefa Thank You-- The problem is, is that it is in human language,. Other animals do no act like this. * * Margherita Thank you, friend of many years... " No God worthy of this name would ever instigate His followers/children to perpetrate such acts of violence, rooted in blind hatred." So true....... * * Latearrival Thank you for the comments, and for thinking so well of my poem... You certainly can keep it in your file. |

Done in the name of that double edged sword of religious beliefs. There are times when I think Lennon was right but then again I suppose any crusade will do. Strong piece. |

Rainy, and Cari...thank you for reading .and your though filled replies. I could change a few words in this, and it would tell the tale of San Bernadino. I am tired of writing poems on this matter! Namste नमस्ते |
