The Footprints of Time Moonlit shadows dance in the deepening twilight to a soft Autumn breeze. The years of this life are the evening mist. A loon cries somewhere in the wilderness to the rising moon and all things passing into the infinite void. In ten thousand tomorrows I could not forget her smile; but the world, love, and she have moved on, leaving me behind where I travel alone in the footprints of time. --- b. e. adams [11/7/2015] |

Great poem. Memories, both good and bad haunt us. ~ If they give you ruled paper, write sideways. ~ |
