pond full of petals fingers of flowering seers tell me of her love She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |

Ah, this senryu is full of passion and hope, with a bit of hurt mixed in if I dissected it correctly. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Thanks Miss Lori and JerryPat for your visits. The process of 'picking petals' is indeed "bittersweet" Miss Lori and the "bit of hurt" you mentioned JerryPat depends on which petal is the last..."She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not"! True love is hardly based on the 'luck of the draw', but it's fun and romantic in its way to think about it as such. ...then there's all that work 88's friends She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
