A Love to Talk Against Time Red and orange Sugar Maple Leaves rustle in the evening sunset wind and dance their final falling arabesques. A loon cries out its sorrows on the day and Autumn passing, across this forest lake of dreams. The rising-crescent moon carves its slice of star field splendor from an infinitely deep and boundless cosmic tapestry of endless mysteries. Though we were together but a little while, I thought our love would last, beyond the relentless wheels of fate or destiny, to talk against Time and never fade like the morning dew. Though others can perhaps forget you, I shall be haunted always by your beautiful ghost passing through the lonely shadows marshaled for such occasions by the night. --- b. e. adams (10/20/2015) |

Clearly the best of yours I've read SHDP. The lovely accents of the surrounds in your opening lines gently blend into the more personal remembrances. The seasons always return to us. Big 88's on a most pleasurable read. She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
