Truth of Consequences

"Sometimes even when you make what you consider
right choices you feel the pain."

"One summer day, exercising her choice, my first
love moved away; that's the day you find out,
it hurts when your first love goes away."

Like a young fool
on a summer day
my first love
moved away;
we took a drive
to a remote desert valley
to say our last goodbyes,
There I ask her why
would she move away
and make me cry;
she knew how much I cared for her,
I always treated her nice,
we had shared many special times
and she reminded me of the night
when she told me she was
graduating from high school soon
and if I wouldn't make her my wife
she would have to move on with her life,
soon after that conversation she moved,
and I remember laying on my bed,
crying until my face turned red.

Billie Jean where are you?
Thanks for being
a special part of
my life...

Don't look for her James, because you might find her.

She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".

I'm not really looking but she's a pleasant
memory...each person only has their own life in memory...good or bad...james

the problem is the 'sticking point' ... when one has nothing left but memories of lost loves.

fine 'slice of life' and 'memories' write!

Oh, dear James, those tears we shed in our young years, when the world seemed to crash because of a love that wasn't meant to continue ... You remember this story beautifully.

Love,
Margherita
