   Its desperation that makes me
love you
Desperation and a skin hunger so
deep its almost devastating
   I fight this...oh how I fight this
...senseless love
I count all the reasons we
will fail
   Making little checkmarks on
my heart for each reason
Yet every day you are here
loving me gently
   With your childlike love that
sees no flaws, no faults,
...innocence personified
Still I ache when we are apart
desperate, needy, doubtful...love
And at the end of the day
my heart brushes off the checkmarks
Brushes off the doubts, the fears
the lonely tears
   And I just love you...desperately

Warm and heartfelt poetry Miss Paula.

To me, these lines I quote from your writing are reason enough to look past the 'desperation':
quote:
Yet every day you are here
loving me gently
   With your childlike love that
sees no flaws, no faults,

Lovely writing from lovely feelings.

Its exactly why I look past my demons when it comes to love...and him.

"With your childlike love that sees no faults."  This trait is valuable...james
