Fair to middlin' of nowhere

These Times

The Truth is
as it always has been
and always will be,
silently screaming.

The Truth is;
we have always been,
and always will be,
desperately believing.

What we believe,
we call truth
because it is our reality.
It is all we know.

What we call facts
are often times Truths.
But facts have a way of changing.
The Truth always remains the same.

Truth is ageless and timeless,
unchanged by discoveries, perspectives and bias.
Truth changes our perspectives and bias
with its revelation within us.

We do not so much learn the truth
as we, instead, come to recognize it.
Truth changes us by our discovery of it.
One truth leads to another.

Truth in its entirety is incomprehensible.
It is too much to conceive all of its implications.
We trust in Truth, if nothing else.
We hold on to Truth with faith.

This is a truth for myself as well Miss Lori.

(The 'truth' is that I usually try to inject some levity in my replies to you, but you've got me shut out this time.)

Like you said, Lori, truth is what we are . . .

"What we call facts
are often times Truths.
But facts have a way of changing.
The Truth always remains the same."

You'd better believe facts change things around, big time every so often.

Loved this poem.

Oh my, Lori, you so nailed this challenge and then some.

"The Truth is
as it always has been
and always will be,
silently screaming."

"What we call facts
are often times Truths.
But facts have a way of changing.
The Truth always remains the same."

There is so much wisdom you display in your words throughout this piece.  I am humbled to read it.  In my mind, this is one of the best pieces I've seen not just by you, but on this topic as a whole, also.  Very nicely answered challenge.

Michael

Jerry you are correct in saying facts can change everything. I believe in the wisdom of the words that the Truth can set you free.
