She has a familiar walk
...you've never seen
She knows all things
...you can't know
She repeats things
...you heard but once
She wears things
...you wore out
She aches for love
...you smile for a dime
She clings to her teddy
...you shot the bear
She doesn't rise early
...you're always late
She reads Edgar’s Raven
...you find birds a bore
She plots your demise
...you sleep it all off
She shades the bird's cage
...pennies weight your eyes


She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".

Not too sure about the meaning of this one, but one thing I AM sure of is that you have magic in your fingers . . .
