I think of you
And I remember the times
When we were busy
As Space Pirates and Ninjas
And life was easy
But we thought it was hard.
Now the two of us are married
(To different people)
And hopefully happy
And after all this time
I know I've forgiven you
And hope you haven't completely
Forgotten me.

After forgiving and going on with your life I hope you found happiness...sometimes we think our world was with someone else, but it is what it is today...still I hope you hold good memories...james

Lovely poetry with a gentle tug at the way things were between you.

I feel your poetry speaks for many if not all of us. Whenever, within the hours of our busy lives, we have a moment to call our own, it warms us to look back and peek at those most innocent of times and those with whom we shared them with.

Your poem and my own moment left me smiling.
