The Mysteries of Her Heart Beneath a resplendent moon and deep September sky of rushing clouds and luminous stars, a pine wind sings a song of immortal Time and the ever-rolling seasons. Autumn shakes the consciousness, here in this woodland world, as only a lone heron and the shadowy spirits of the night roam the infinite void between heaven and the lurid world of men. Though I talk to this twilight forest only falling leaves and Time reply that far to much shall remain unknown, like the mysteries of her heart --- b. e. adams (9/30/2015) |
