Happy Together She went to the dress shop for the third time in a month; it was one of those in the neighborhood right down the street dress shops that sold slightly used clothing, yet upon its racks she always found the most beautiful dresses that fit her perfectly in small size, and it was so much fun to surprise her boyfriend and see the smiles upon his face when she wore these (new) dresses, and hear the things he would say; like, "Wow honey, that dress looks so nice on you, like it was made just for you." or "You know you missed your calling, you should have been a model.", and he would always give her the nicest hug and the sweetest kiss that made her feel like a million bucks, and the dress only cost her peanuts, and everytime they were together they would smile so much because they both appreciated each other and were so happy together. Just on my way out the 'door' JM when I saw your title. Being one who always liked the Turtles, it rang quick and loud in its beckoning. Now I can go with a smile and a warm fuzzy feeling instead of leaving the lights on and slamming the door. Big 88's on a really good write. She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast". |
