I Can Be Small

I remember being happy as a child
I don't recall any bad memories
I guess a lot changes

Somewhere in time
I found myself unable to speak
Regressing as a human being

I wonder even now
If you always relished in my pain
Or if this is all a recent development.

I wonder why if there were no bad memories, am I wrong to deduce from your writing that somehow pain came in and "regressed" your growing up. This write challenges one to think deeper, good one.
