Houston commercial photography

chambered nautilus
queen of seashells
reigns beneath sun-dazzled waters
while a carnival of colors lights up
the liquid labyrinth of her kingdom.

then mighty storms swept the seas
bringing chaos, hurling great waves
against weeds, fishes, and such
underwater creatures too weak to resist
against this power unleashed by nature.

now the aftermath calm has settled,
nature surveys her damage
as children run barefoot and wild
throw pebbles and scrounge for stone gems
start building castles on the sand.

and what is this lying still and solitary
an empty nautilus shell, no longer holding
a once proud, reigning queen of seashells
surrounded by her court of underwater subjects-
now looking discarded and forgotten.

so our tale of the glory days
for one chambered nautilus shell
is come to an end, but let's not despair
if you should dive and do a search into the deep
there may lie a treasure of chambered nautilus shells.

You're a genius Jerry, you have an uncanny intuition that can discern real meanings beneath the superfluous flow of words (mine). Alas, that's just what  life is sometimes. First the glory, then the downfall. (couldn't resist putting in a photo).

A beautiful reminder that while our outward shell may become discarded...Our soul will be remembered.
