This is Love (part 3) "Casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you (I Peter 5:7). All our mistakes, all our foolishness, all our disappointments, all our failures, all our regret. all our shame, all our pain and suffering, he will take every sin when we bring it to him. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). As he said when he was crucified, "Father forgive them for they know not what they do. (Luke 23:34) Many times we don't understand the impact of our decisions or actions and we bring suffering too ourselves and others as we make bad choices. Still after all our mistakes, all our bad decisions, God continues to Love us and forgive us; he already has, that's why Jesus said "It is finished." (John 19:30). He came to save us. "for the son of man is come to save that which was lost." (Matthew 18:11) Its interesting to note that Pastor Greg Laurie's story of how he came to Christ is titled "Lost Boy". "For by grace are you saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man shall boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9). Through it all, and in spite of all the circumstances God blessed me and my ex-wife with three wonderful sons that she and her new husband did a good job of raising, and I love them and they love me. Praise God! JamesLee 6/24/15 [This message has been edited by JamesMichael (06-25-2015 12:03 AM).] |

Well documented James. Strangely I have just posted something about 'love' in Prose. I will look later for your Part 1 and Part 2 of this. Owl |
