Birds are always well, or better than me, They think little but think fast, They are two wings to convince you, You make daisies cry … Birds sing better than the air, or better than me, They are not afraid of the rain which dismisses them, Nor of the sun spread as a cream, They are not jealous of Hollywood stars or neighbors. Nicely done, my friend - birds, in one iteration or another have been a part of my life since I knew what one was. I've raised them, bred them, nursed and cared for them, studied and spoke about them. Only thing I hate is the laws taking most of that away from us, laws mostly created by special interest groups (oh, isn't that what the U.S. Congress is...) Enjoyed your piece, j. |
