Look up at the sky, it's not gray
Omnipresent, so far away
Its up there they say angels tread
Keeping a watchful eye on the dead
And you and me and Uncle Fred
For under the sky and the clouds
We all are waiting for the shroud
Those who've gone before we have tears
Some we've not seen many a year
Living here on earth can cause pain
Some say it is the mark of Cain
We're oft reminded where we go
They beat their chests and tell of woe
I say just give it all a rest
Without tithes you still can be blessed
I know for a fact so don't despair
Sweet Land of Liberty so fair
But some are here to make us fall
I see the writing on the wall
These people are using our laws
To subvert us but they are flawed
They worship a pedophile god
Pedophilia in the Qur'an
They are slowly beating us down
If not stopped we will surely drown
Stop islamization of our land
Bring back America so grand
Oh, just please open up your eyes
If not America will die
Women will become property
And live their lives in misery
You think my fears are so absurd
But its not my eyes that are blurred
Oh, this great land has lost its shine
It's been diluted like cheap wine
We claim greatness, but just a trace
It's a different kind of arms race
This place we love and call our home
Will soon I'm quite sure be our tomb
We're living on past glory's now
I won't last much longer I vow
It's up to us, we who are still free
To stop the madness, that's the key.

Thanks Tanya, for showing up. This is the kind of poetry many feel uncomfortable with. Still . . . Truth is truth. Thank you again . . .

When you're right, you're right, Tanya, about poetry not eing the place for "touchy feelings."
