For You, Because of You, With You For you, because of you, with you I smile. The first thing I do now, most every day. You are the difference, making life worthwhile With everything you do or you say. You comfort me when you know I’m in pain. To take yours away I’d offer my soul. That they think we’re cause to it, I can’t explain; But making them happy seems a fruitless goal. I make you happy—all I care about. What you do for me is priceless and dear. Even shared with darkness, there is no doubt To the significance of what we hold here… A love that will see us both through every trial, For you, because of you, with you I smile.
