Spring’s Yawn tis a calm and drippy morning with rain trickling past the orb a springing of the dawning as sol climbs with minutes stretching a quietness a solitude commences as resting is the norm for thee scrolling through the hours at hand as seconds tick silently away what is this peacefulness ensuing when life’s transition looms one’d think it’s time for movement not lolling, basking beneath this gray yet quietude holds me in its grasp I reach not to break its hold rather claim its wondrous blessing as cocoon shelters within its fold ©Virginia Salter May 19, 2015 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
