Do you see the blossom now In bygone days we spoke of blossom on the bough Those soft spring days pale warmth the sun Far cuckoo call a nest to steal songbird's sad note But do you see the blossom now Kingfisher dips and takes the fry I simply watch And listen to the sound of spring Woodpecker taps forgotten days I now recall But do you see the blossom now In deepest night how wise the owl the vixen calls Cold moon that lights the forest path Where branches reach gnarled oak fingers to touch your face But do you see the blossom now I lye alone as darkness falls and visions fade Too soon the dawn no warmth it brings Another day is what you'd say I can see your smile I know you see the blossoms now |

Eh . . . Even when there are no blossoms, if we have a pure positive mind-set we see blossoms each and every day, even though they have dried up and blown away. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

This exquisite love poem is heart-stabbingly and gut-punchingly sad, Michael. It has me in tears. |

You have handpicked some of the blossoms to keep forever with this. Such are priceless. Michael |

You've painted quite the portrait here! This: "..In deepest night how wise the owl the vixen calls Cold moon that lights the forest path Where branches reach gnarled oak fingers to touch your face.." ~is penned so sweet! I could feel the wind chill and whispers of love take care ~d "...But a tyrant spell has bound me, |
