It is not what I’d hoped, But, today is taupe. That is just another way to say it is almost gray… but not quite. Some clouds are white but foreboding. They look near to unloading. Only heaven knows what menace or blessing that will hit the ground. Will hail wildly pound or spring rain fall in a gentle squall? You just never know about a tornado dropping in now and again. Its circular wind velocity is such a curiosity. Hit and miss devastation, painstaking restoration… When the day turns taupe you pray and hope things don’t go awry in that awkward colored sky. In Kansas you just never know. It’s still April, it might just snow! LGR©4/16/15 |

It is black clouds all around down here in the swamp raining like hell as well as the thunderstorms come through followed by others it has been doing this for five days and the smart-ass weathermen/women say it will continue to do the same until the weekend. when asked about the weekend they just give you that snarly smile like they know but aren't telling the likes of you ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

We could sure use some of that rain here! It has been "spit" and miss in my neck of the woods. All around us is fairing much better... go figure! ~L |
