On The Path Unfolding Before You (from dialogues with Serenity) |

Do you seek the Mandorla, where choice must be made and accepted? It is the vulva of the universe, pre-dating, but co-opted, by Christianity and Buddhism, symbolized source of understanding, Yoni; obsessed vision of Valentine, defining doorways to aware continuance; it is non-place where worlds overlap and transitions are possible, where choices must be made and accepted. Can you understand? You seek almond gilded shape of exalted existence, where converging consciousness defines a closed helix, origins and limitations of life, paradox of will, constant line that does not exist as it flows unending between reality and unreality, overlapping circles that form the portal of transition. It is harmonic space, stretched by tension of being torn between worlds, contradiction and conflict of opposites, necessary urgency of standing between that which is real and that which is too real to exist. There, you will find the unity you seek, of being suspended in stasis between opposing forces, blinding truth of vitality and fulfillment of non-existence. There, at fluid point of choice wherein walls of reality become as smoke through which may pass the willing into higher realms of awareness, is waiting embrace of real eternity. There, you will behold the Nibmus, legend, blinding aura, band of energy surrounding those who have chosen obligations of life, halo of transitory wistful awareness, imagined and made real, willingness to be aware, to make a choice and feel opportunity. There, is the vaulted doorway, the Mandorla, portal through which wanders Infinite Soul when need comes ‘round, as it must from time to time, to change us all a little bit, again. ©2005, 2015 by icebox (revised) |
