As long as there are walls, We can protect ourselves, We can bring up a roof, Build rooms, We can lock ourselves into hearts, As long as there are walls, There is an outside world, And lizards which dance at the pink sun, As long as there are walls, there is simple life Thoughts which solve equations, But when the wall collapses by a kiss, Le Monde changes look, and material, Another wall raises itself, a silk wall, Poet's light as a feather wall, Where we have to build a new house The one of the man without walls … |

interesting thoughts... I think at my stage in life, I'd choose to miss the kiss and paint my walls with brighter colours enjoyed |

I'm reading this as a metaphor for falling in love. Yes, the protective walls are certainly gone then. We are vulnerable, but gloriously so. Top dollar. |
