Gazing off into space I wonder of my place In the cosmos or perhaps a heart; Perhaps a heart will find me here Fill my stone heart with new cheer, Now there is but emptiness of space; Emptiness of space needs a nice filling Almost anything else would be thrilling That could add a splash something. A splash of something amber and sweet That warms the body from soul to feet And lets the heart be closed for repairs Closed for repairs using tears for tools Just another in the cosmos of fools, How many fools does it take to fill a void. To fill a void with a spirit and a touch I wonder is just one to ask too much As I stand gazing off into space. Gloom |
