took me three days maybe more as I bit my lip curse and then cussed those three days (maybe more) were spent dealing with Facebook ne’er try dealing with Facebook it will not gentle with you I was moving right along until Facebook sent me an urgent message telling me to prove who I was give them my password so I did I was immediately sent to an old Facebook site these last three days (maybe more) has been hair-pulling cussin’ and being dejected Facebook these days are becoming much too sure of themselves (remember Myspace) the mighty can, and will collapse under their own weight ©January 17, 2015 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

man vs machine!!! arggggg!!! Had a similar albeit shorter frustration with my debit card at the grocery story. It didn't "recognize" my card as it "sometimes just does that" said the lady. To which I responded, "because it isn't a human being."  |

Face book is getting a bit too much.I do not like how almost every one just share those boxes with words from someone else's mind.I prefer to chat and share with family and friends.But I love it because I have met so many nice people and found a few second and third and fourth and once removed cousins who have sent me photos.In fact one from Maine is coming today to visit. She is now retired and taking a long trip stopping at camp sites.I have a lot of photos of her family as I had been to their home in another state.In fact I once had a crush on her dad who is my mother's first cousin. LOL so we will have a lot of laughs today. Best to you, Jo |

Ah, that is so sweet about your cousin and dad, yes, I will imagine there will be a lot of laughs in that house today. Yep, I totally agree with you about all the postings on Facebook. I very seldom do that. I also do NOT "like." If I see something that I like I comment on it, not "like" it. Jesus! I can understand your frustration, dear Jerry. All these new ways of communication are fantastic on one side and depressing on the other. Just today my son said he is thinking of canceling his profile, because the contras are outweighing the pros and when this happens we are getting bored. I do like many things but I am also horrified at some other things that people share. Wishing you to solve your problem and to enjoy the good sides of fb again. Margherita |
