One Pine Forest December is inscrutable as the winter wind that plays its sad laments on bare-bone trees and the vacant moon which sails the still, chill sea with a vast starless sky of tattered clouds rolling forever in from nowhere and on to nowhere. A frozen silence slips through this frosted forest world around one bleak and lonely pine standing apart yet unyielding ... we are one. --- b. e. adams (12/20/2014) |

There is much beauty in the starkness you paint, and the stillness has a certain elegance. Very pretty... |

Thank you ! December is difficult but perhaps not as bleak, bare, and bereft of all hope as those that Anton Pavlovich Chekhov 'wrote' ?! (there is minimalistic beauty and Zen) |

I love to read you and place myself there in midst of your scenery, inhaling all the silent, peaceful beauty. Captivating! Margherita |

Thanks, Trina ! I was once an oil painter ... more 'challenging' and interesting to 'paint' with a word-brush of light, though ! |
