Remember the first time you fell? There was noone in sight nobody to tell you could feel your heart hit the ground but when a heart breaks alone does it make a sound? Like the sound of crying babys sobbing themselves to sleep Like the weight of the world falling at your feet The never ending echo of the beating and the pound When a heart breaks alone does it make a sound? Can't they see I'm hiding I don't hear a word they say They just keep talking and laughing and acting like I'm ok They don't hear the noise I hear but it's always around When a heart breaks alone does it make a sound? |

hearts break so easily but they seem to endure to break many times over, each shattering a new piece but gaining experience. nice write. RS |

redwriter1, I really liked this.I am sure I had it happen but was so busy I never seemed to find the time to notice. Now all these years later I wonder how I carried on at times. Best to you. Jo Perry |

Very lyrical. I like this very much. Great stimulator for the lonely. true love never looks after it's own interests |

Thanks guys, I'm glad you think it is lyrical, because I actually did make this into a song. (smile) Kay-lynn |

When the heart breaks alone it does indeed make a sound- a beautiful sound...it continues to beat. I love the idea behind this. Enjoyed. -Trina |
