       Indian Summer Dreams

While Autumn passing
greets the dawn in sorrow
with bare trees and a touch of
morning frost on fading
Jack O Lantern smiles,
the sun still breaks through
a magnificent deep-cloud sky
on a still beautiful world
awaiting Winter change.
Though the ever-rolling years
   compel our lives,
here in these fleeting moments
of a glorious Indian Summer ‘now’
there are still the finest thoughts
memories, and dreams of Spring
   and the joy of Love.

... actually, I just humbly try to give it fine 'voice' ... the 'magic' is in these ancient rocks, lakes, streams, and forest-hills!
