I was doing my best holding on to hurt and anger Then God blessed my heart and made the Lilacs bloom again on a perfect fall day And I found respite in spite of myself |

Oh my, I don't know why, but your words just made me cry! It is so beautiful to be the receivers of these gifts! Wonderful little gem, dear Lori! I was so happy too about a wonderfully scented rose which bloomed on my balcony just Saturday, on my Mother's birthday ... we celebrated her within our hearts. The name of this rose is "Stainless steel" and its color is tender lilac ... Love, Margherita "Love is the One who masters all things; |

I thank the Lilacs for giving you some respite from your troubles. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Thanks y'all! Talk about cutting off one's nose to spite one's face... This morning we transplanted the bush from behind a pigeon coop to out beside the sandstone grill where we can see it better. but now it might not bloom again for years. |

Yes I do indeed! And I hate myself when I am blinded to them. I am miserable without my attitude of gratitude. Lori |

Lilacs are so beautiful. There are several Lilac "farms" in the Hill Country of Texas about 4 hours from us and it is so pretty when they're in bloom - just acres and acres of Licas. enjoyed, my friend. j |

Hey Jerry, Don't we all sometimes? It is so easy to do. Then, it dawns on us what we missed and we wonder how on earth we did. Being human is an interesting business to say the very least. I have become more forgiving of myself as I get older (either that or I just don't give a hoot anymore) Either way, I don't sweat the small stuff like I used to. ~L |

Hi Lori, this short poem is so evocative and sweet. And reminds me the adjective sweet lilacs that associate with this flower |
