if they are still alive and kickin' you can tell 'um I 'm still hanging in though I am surrounded by the end result eh . . . no sense lying about it to those I once knew who are left staring at the same perspective I am I'm quite aware of my identity if not then after today I won't be able to say that waiting for the lady Valerie I think who will bring me oxygen paraphernalia to begin to use Doctor Espinoza told me today I'm worried about you I appreciated that she is a good doctor I'm happy to have her worried about me anyway . . . this poem is venturing on dark maybe sad but I am not sad no . . . I am a realist I've had my run wouldn't mind a little more of it have to talk to the good doctor about that ©October 2, 2014 / Jerry Pat Bolton If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Jerry Pat. I hope all is well.Do not give in to dark passages. For five full hectic years I convinced my husband he was LIVING with Cancer (lung and three head tumors}not dying of it. Keep positive and do my let the medics own you. Best to you, jo |

Oh, it is just what is, Jo. I have a few ills that happen when you get my age. Just thinking out loud here. Thank you for your positive thoughts. They help, they really do. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

I'm trying to hang in, Ida. Yes, Dr. Espinoza is a good doctor. I am doing what she say to the best of my ability. Thanks for your concern. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Those little ills we get as we age can wear us down if we let them. Best advice - ignore them. Sometimes not possible though so my little mantra is to ask for the strength to handle whatever it is. I wish that for you. |

Thanks a bunch, Helen for your sage advice and your wishing good health for me. I wish it for you right back. Actually I have no real aches or pains, just shortness of breath brought of by emphysema, or COPD or whatever they might be calling it tomorrow. So the oxygen is supposed to help, I hope so, and I think I can already feel it helping. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |

Thanks, Jerry. Nothing can be unless we believe so ... don't "think" it's working "believe" it is. Well, just another thing I try to do but am not always successful or so it seems. Hang in there! |

Yeah you're right, Helen. It's helping, I'm just having trouble wearing the face mask at night. If they give you ruled paper write sideways. |
