She saved everyone Giving them a part Of herself An angel of sorts Meant to save The damned All the while Smiling And her brilliance Was blinding Because she couldn't Allow you to see That while she Was your saving grace She was just as broken And just as damned -Trina |

Sometimes the ones who are our heroes and saviors are troubled to the nth behind their eyes. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Indeed, those who give so much are often in more need than the ones they try to save. Understanding this, jo |

Giving to the givers is sometimes hard to do as they never learned to take for themselves. Teaching them it is okay to take, is a gift of a lifetime. It is good to see you write on this subject...you always make your point loud and clear. Good to read you again. Lori |

Some of those who give so much have nothing left to give themselves. Great write - very moving! |

I found this write very powerful and it makes me thank God for those who suffer greatly yet give even greater for their reward will be awesome. Wonderful poem. |

You masterfully convey a profound truth here, dear Trina. The joy that resides in the act of giving love usually converts into enough healing energy for the giver too, but it is something like a privileged channel from Above and leaves the giver still longing for signs of human demonstration of caring. Very intense poem. Love, Margherita |

indeed, who can give better than one so poor that she has to give her all, who might care better than one who has loved, but loved too greatly? |

Such raw sincerity and altruistic grace splashed into the quiver-beauty of a poem leaves me humbled in admiration. Owl |
