it always perplexes foreigners from so-called third world countries even mighty Russia at our unwillingness to take decisive action against the bad guys they shake their heads at us for being so naïve and hopeful who believe that humans are fundamentally decent citizens consequently, we are always stunned at fellow human beings when they commit atrocious acts what is this world coming to? we ask ourselves we are bewildered at the news of another bombing all the numerous murders or widespread looting don’t forget about raping our children as though the world has ever been anything else but corrupt our visitors don’t understand that reasoning, intellectual people allow ourselves to make and hide behind so many sets of laws and procedures and the trials that go on and on for months where the law is belittled and turned inside out by literalism and deviousness to eventually set the guilty free by confused juries confused laws, confused orders by the judge they wonder if we are more correct for all our rules and they shake their heads realizing that with each new rule we become weaker ©January 8, 2014 Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |
