as the sun sets and the moon settles into the indigo sky above I'm captivated by it's radiance mesmerised by it's presence and this moment in time is such solace to my ever chaotic life I give a sigh as I marvel at it’s dominance in this beautiful celestial haven above the night sky and her lover a picture of pure ecstasy Love is the life of the soul... It is the harmony of the universe — W. E. Channing |

Yes, tracie66, it is moments such as these that poets are born. These moments can fill you heart with wonderment. You conveyed those sentiments wonderfully. ~*~ I gave up feeling guilty just to survive a long time ago ~*~ |

There is just something about the night, and the moon, that begs to be written - and you have captured that so well here. Very nice |

I love how poets think outside the box. It makes the universe what it is...more lovely than what is normally seen. You have done well at this, tracie. Thanks you for writting your thoughts down in verse. [This message has been edited by ice (01-30-2012 10:32 AM).] |

How bereft we could be without the moon to bewitch us with it's romance and magic--full of secrets and momentary madness, that old man in the moon! Sometimes, he's just a baby, but either way, he's good at looking over one's shoulder as she writes poetry. I'm so glad he's impartial in his inspiration. I love the stolen moments you capture here. |

Wonderful Poem, the moon is amazing. In his mantle gray he walked one day across a shining floor and with crystal key in secrecy he opened an ivory door -J.R.R. Tolkien(T.Bombadil) |
