Moonlit Path Night falls and draws the dark curtain On things that are, and things that were Owl calls, her silent wings unheard Will timid vole the daylight see On leathered flight, no need for sight The bat detects the insect drone And so alone dewpond reflects The crescent moon that wanes too soon In forest hush your blanket leaves And dappled beams on shadowed face And is love lost within the maze As tangled brambles tear your skin Till surely there a moonlit path Weaves to your door, to stay once more |

As always, you paint a beautiful word picture for your fans and passer-by's. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Michael It really is another world at night isn't it but it's quite fascinating all the things that are happening out there in nocturnal world of the animal kingdom. This is quietly beautiful. Loved it! Eric |
