Search for yourself Search by yourself Search yourself No one else can choose your path nor walk it in your place They may stand beside, or walk behind, but the journey's yours to face No one else can lead you There are those who point the way, but no one can say how far to go, or where to stop or stay Hand-me-downs can cover you, but sometimes do not fit When force-fed meat has gotten old, don't be afraid to spit The center of your being is the place where you should start Listen to the guidance given to your heart Take free flight, you, who seeks Ride each and every wind that speaks *** |

I especially liked the title..."Whispers" with the poem; its the self that whispers, and you really have to listen to hear it above the cacophony that surrounds. |

v. well said ! I am particularly fond of: "The center of your being is the place where you should start" AND of: "Take free flight ... Ride each and every wind that speaks" |
