Gonna sit right here on this old kitchen chair drink me some whiskey blow some smoke on the air Take out your picture an gaze at your smile Pray for these feelings to be gone in a while. I know you left me You said it's for the best But these blues keep on callin Cause it ain't over yet. Whatever happened to the long moonlit walks The sweet midnight lovin and the faith at all costs. I'm alone with my story only a few understand how a broken man's driven by the love he once had. I know you left me But I can't let it rest And these blues keep on callin Cause it ain't over yet. Everybody's got something to do Me I'll just sit here thinkin bout you. I'm the man who gave you my heart and soul But you left it here with nowhere to go. I know you left me With a pain in my chest And these blues keep on callin Cause it ain't over yet. |

Thank ya Suthern I guess we have to realize that John Lee Hooker was right when he said, "the blues is a healer." No one likes to feel them but they fill in the void when needed. They provide that relief from hurt. Thanks for the great comment. Eric true love never looks after it's own interests |
