. White boats With sunset wakes Slowly make their way Into the harbor The car ferry Tied up at dock Seems a monument To silence Seagulls Along the shore Are still A summer breeze Bends the long grasses As the last light disappears A small bell rings The moon rises Casting a silver glow On all the quiet houses It’s hard to write About someone Who was stupid I seem unable To be truthful No matter how I try . |
