. Sun set Its last lights Just above The horizon line Crimson orange And blue There’s an oak A single willow Whose leaves sway In a breeze one can Hardly feel How far away Though here This place becomes However glittered Pedestrian Viewed with those Who are only now They call me Wave their hands Urge me hurry With their beckoning Among the gone I knew back then I miss myself Most of all . |

I do not pretend to understand your poem. But I liked the ending, because I miss myself most of all. I miss who I was 50 years ago. I miss my innocence, I miss my cheery outlook on things, I miss the fun I had with old friends who have passes on, or moved away or are just too busy. Delightful poem, keep writing! |

I think you bit deep into everybody's psyche with "missing myself most of all", my friend. It's an area many don't think about until prompted. j. |
