Golden light fills the fields and trees Bird songs fill the air Trills and tweets whistles and chirps flying to and fro Redwing black birds sing on the wing A pheasant crows Meadowlarks hidden heard The choir grows with voices clear singing the sun down LGRĀ©4/11/12 |

My head is reeling with all the singing, but it is a good reeling. Nice poetry, Lori. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

I found this poem a joyful one to read but when I read it silently it didn't flow for me. However, when I read it aloud and placed imaginary commas and full stops where my mind wanted them to be, the poem flowed beautifully. It's a teriffic poem. I love nature poetry and write quite a lot of them myself, mostly free verse and without punctuations. I use stressed words to end a line and line breaks instead of commas and spaces between lines for full stops. |

Your poem is like a song... a bird song. Enjoyed Lori, ms. e |
