I cherish The space Between us This no privilege Less right To be inside Ever aware Of the fatal error I could have made I revel unnatural In solitude Like a cat at watch From its balcony Content with what There is to see Out there not here Apart from me Going on its Innocuous way A single sparrow Under wooden eaves A cardinal wings From tree to tree April daisies And yellow honey bees How I love These blue sky days . |
