Years in desperate try for something more, I was a lonely man Relic I was fakin’, blew a cake and watched the candles fly the years Bundle all this aching up, it was never meant for love All the years end and it was over to begin As winter filled the sky Up against the rain could feel the pain and there was tears out Nothing a craze the inner fears I hadn’t breath to make Searching for the way, may not need a route Funny how the fail could fill the jail of loving you in vain Winter’s on the fly Running and I think we may be stuck we never worked it out Looking up in robes, tried but I must be passing out No it wasn’t all made up, the disappoint or the jaded luck It’s just rusting the silvery, looking for a finer cause There was never any hope To warm the colder heart [This message has been edited by Robert Frazier (04-04-2012 05:38 PM).] |

you're just going to have to check your email for this one...because what you've given up here, just needs more comment. |

Poignant and beautifully expressed. But in my opinion there exists no such thing as loving in vain. There is unrequited love certainly and it hurts. There is maybe deeper joy in loving than in being loved ... because down down down we never fully trust. Margherita |
