Where do they go, when the entire week is one long epic, and the skies do nothing but weep their metaphors, and all the hours marinated in acid simile sting? When a good healthy poem is indicated...when the symptoms could be managed by a robust regimen of assonance, assisted by nurse alliteration, but it ends up nothing but a no-show. Cowards. Come on out. |
