       The Camera Knows a Pretty Face

       Christmas choirs on display
       of colleges and universities
       of ranks and rows of robes
       of all the youthful faces singing

       The panning slows and stops
       the profile camera isolates
       among all faces fresh and becoming
       one or two stand out

       An adequate description
       will forever remain elusive
       so I can not tell you what it is
       the camera always knows

so true ... or is it the cameraman who receives a signal from a charming face and stops long enough to allow those who will watch to be captivated too. Much enjoyed your poem!

wether it's Monroe or Dean the camera loves them, that indefinable spark that attracts the ghost in the machine,
