Sacred rite of healing

***

Upon the notes of our soulsong
we meet in the Eden of upper space
peace and love emanate from you
as you move towards me with grace.

A spark of light ignites our eyes
as we honor our common source of life.
Together we focus on the sacred Globe
you delicately hold in your cupped hands.

We gather all the tears shed on Earth
by all the hearts who bleed in pain,
we hang them in thousands of strings
one by one around the glowing sun.

We have the power to heal our world
our love can dry the rivers of tears
falling from the eyes of precious children
there is deep joy in restoring their smiles.

Tears and fears, Margherita, go hand in hand with society today. My fear is that it is impossible to "heal our world," but that doesn't mean we should not keep on keeping on and trying. Poets' words are often the only light shining in the dark.

Your poetry speaks to the heart , to never give up the light no matter how dark it gets.
even a glimmer can sustain through the harshness.
