She makes her entrance in a tutu,
a big pink bow in her hair.
Does a little twirl
just to say, "I'm here!"
She delivers the news
like an ace reporter.
Her smile lights up the room.
I know she'll have everyone laughing
very soon.
Then she'll settle down
to more serious matters...
like her lunch
and her jigsaw puzzle,
sprinkled with a little
girlie chatter.

Ava is my great granddaughter. She is 4 and a showy, feminine little Aries child who keeps everyone entertained with her unique personality.

Absolutely delightful, dear Ida. Ava conquered the hearts around her and through your beautiful words she conquers ours too.

Give her a hug from across the world.

She sounds a darling, Ida!  Her name is very similar to yours.  That bodes very well for her.

Awww, missed this the first time around. Very, very cute and wonderfully written. t paints a full color picture of Ava's entrance.
