. Have I finally burnt to death in his glare Am I still alive to sink in the night Come from nothing to touch him and gone nowhere Out of mind as soon As out of sight . 08/12/2013 . [This message has been edited by Gale (12-08-2013 01:13 AM).] |

You got that right, a brief touching of the heat and outta there, never to be seen again. ~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Wow. The power of your words amazes me at times. "Am I still alive to sink in the night?" One day will discover you have wings, Galina... and that you are destined to fly far above this. Michael |

I've found it on the Internet yesterday ![]() ![]() I think it could be a good illustration to my piece. Comets and stars are like people aren't they? |

Thank you, Jerry! I thought about its fate yesterday. What is next? If our guest escaped from the sunny embrace, will it change our lives, Or it will be only a show. |

Bruce, Krawdad, Kit, thank you very much! I see that my poem has changed its name somehow, but its original name was "Schrodinger's Comet" ) I guess that our text editor doesn't like french or german letters ((( |

Impressive piece, dear Gale. Yes I wondered about "Schro", but rereading the poem brought enlightenment. ![]() Fascinating event extremely well rendered. Thought provoking too. Margherita |

James, SkaaDee, Thank you for reading! Thank you, Margerita! I don't know why, but I've noticed that everything is ok, when I use classic Latin letters. In case they are specifically changed like in French or German alphabet, the word containing such letters gets shortened automatically, as if the text editor stumbles there. Schrodinger is Austrian, and his name contains "o" with umlaut. But seems I can't use it, if I want to be understood. |
