I dance around him
as around a maypole
the rhythm beats loud
to the pounding in my heart
through my muscles.

I can no longer hear the music
though it's playing loudly
I feel only the pulse,
the pulse.

He stands still
arms crossed over his chest
over his heart
his eyes move to find me
behind him I dance into a trance,
a trance.

I touch between his shoulders
blades of electricity
electrifying...
a conduit thru his spine, it raises
him, to the end of his hair
He opens... his arms,
his arms... .open
I enter there.
