A SEPTEMBER POEM THAT ISN’T A SEPTEMBER POEM
22 September 2013

Breathe deeply the invigorating whispers
of the dawn breeze,
wrap the sun’s touch
close around your shoulders,
hoist your spirit high
and dance with the harmony
of the morning light
and take on the day’s dilemmas
with the eagerness and elation of impossibility
for if tiny sparrows can do that,
so can you
and
I.

Thank you, Yann. Yes, it is spring here, though our spring and autumn aren't visibly or temperature-wise very different from summer and winter here. There are advantages and disadvantages to this. Being me, I go along with the advantages, and read poetry to enjoy spring and autumn of other countries.
